Total Apprenticeships

Total Enterprise Solutions have been training apprentices for over five years. We know the importance of growing the next generation of technical talent. With 85% of our apprentices gaining full time employment within TES and 25% of our current staff being graduates of apprenticeship qualifications. The mix of the experienced talent and home-grown recruits allows us to mature, and bring forward our best practise techniques and methodology.
We have recently taken on our first Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship in association with Staffordshire University.

Digital & Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship is a new Trailblazer apprenticeship standard, designed by employers and Higher Education to give apprentices, exactly what they need in a graduate-level tech role.

How the programme works:
Our apprentice, Tyler, will be earning and learning whilst studying towards a

Staffordshire University BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions Degree.

Once he has successfully completed the apprenticeship, he will achieve a Bachelor’s degree and professional member of the British Computer Society, allowing him to register as a Chartered IT Professional (CITP).

His degree will also provide part of the education required for accredited CEng status.

Not only will he be earning a liveable wage, he will also walk away with a wealth of experience and no student loan debt as this is all covered through the apprenticeship.

Sounds great right? Well if you meet the entry requirements and have masses of enthusiasm and ambition, TES will be making more apprentice opportunities available in the future.

System Configuration and customisation. A TES developer will develop any customisations as agreed and documented in the scoping analysis phase. All development is documented and can be used as part of the final training pack.

User Acceptance Testing

Another key stage of the delivery cycle, UAT is a planned period during which the business can fully test all areas of the system development and configuration in order to ensure that the software meets the initially identified requirements and will support the business in a live environment.

System Walk Through

The System Walkthrough can be considered as a trial go-live event, the purpose of which is to collectively evaluate the system delivery against defined success criteria, as well as ensuring that the business users are ready to go-live and that Dynamics NAV will support the business.

End User Training

Our suggested approach is that End User Training is run by the business’ Key Users – this helps to embed the system knowledge within the business and empowers the Key Users to become a point of contact for questions/issues as the system is embedded into the company. If required, however, TES can assist with End User Training, in part or in full. For example, the development of a training plan, the creation of training materials, right through to running training sessions across the End User base.

Go Live

We understand that project delivery does not stop on go-live day. TES will ensure an on-site presence on the day of your go-live, plus an agreed number of days thereafter. The project delivery team will work closely with the TES Service Desk to undertake a structured handover that ensures seamless ongoing support to the business.
