Job Title: Junior Designer

Reporting to: Sales and Marketing Manager

Place of Work: Remote working & TES Rugeley Office

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm

Purpose of Role

As a Junior Designer you will work alongside the marketing team and contribute to the visual representation of the TES brand. You will offer input to creative meetings and be responsible for creating engaging digital content for blog articles, newsletter, and social media posts, imaging including videos as well as web content.

As Junior Designer, you will support and liaise with the team to execute campaigns in line with TES branding.


Key Tasks

  • Produce eye catching content for all aspects of marketing functions ensuring that all communication is ‘On Brand’ such as brochures, flyers and business cards.
  • Liaise with and working with any external experts in certain areas ensuring the Companies brand is represented correctly.
  • Design engaging digital assets to market the Company including newsletters, social media channels and web banners.
  • Create channel specific content for TES social media cannels and help drive the growth of the social accounts.
  • Work alongside the wider team to develop visually compelling PowerPoint presentations for various business purposes.
  • Managing updates and maintenance of our WordPress website to keep it fresh and user-friendly.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that align with our brand identity.
  • Assisting with other design-related tasks as needed to support our marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Executive and Sales and Marketing Manager to ensure the marketing strategy is in line with marketing trends.
  • Ensure that all departments are aligned with the TES content output.

  • The principle roles and responsibilities will change from time to time and the post holder is required to undertake any additional duties as deemed appropriate.

Person Specification

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms including creating engaging content.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong skills in creating and editing visual content for both print and digital mediums.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, with the ability to manage and update websites.
  • Knowledge of best practices for web and social media design.
  • Good understanding of B2B marketing and design trends.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident experience in photography and videography.
  • Excellent teamworking skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail ensuring all work is accurate & sense checked.
  • IT literate to a high standard
  • Excellent commercial awareness
