It’s been another busy month for the TES team; from new starters to charity fundraising, not to mention some exciting projects in the pipeline. We’re extremely pleased to have secured a further tender with the Department for Education, as well as being a finalist for the Global Partner of the Year for Social Impact.
Microsoft Tech for Social Impact is a cause we support with our passion for providing solutions for charities and NFPs, and we have some fantastic NFP case studies coming over the next couple of months, so keep an eye out for those.

A World Class Offering for NFPs
We told you last month of some exciting news… how the teams have been designing and developing an enhanced offering for charities and not-for-profits.
We’ve been specialising in the NFP sector for over 15 years and refining our proposition on an ongoing basis, because the innovation with TES never stops. Our portfolio of solutions for charities and NFPs is vast; we have specialist tools to help facilitate Grant Management, Membership, Volunteer Management, Legacy Donations and much, much more.
We’ve created this handy infographic with an overview of all our Microsoft products and services to break it down into easy steps. If you want to find out more about anything you see here, please get in contact with us today.
Microsoft Tech for Social Impact
Microsoft’s launch of their Tech for Social Impact had one goal in mind: to help not-for-profit organisations achieve the success they needed by using cloud software and accelerating Digital Transformation.
Through the use of technology, TES, powered by Microsoft, wants to help enable charities and NFPs to be more productive, more innovative and ultimately, to drive greater social impact with the work they do.
Microsoft 2021 Finalist for Global Partner of the Year for Social Impact
What an accolade! It’s such a privilege to be nominated as a Microsoft 2021 Finalist for Global Partner of the Year for Social Impact and to be recognised for the incredible efforts TES put towards driving improvement in all things charitable.
Department for Education Tender
We are delighted to announce that following a procurement exercise we have been successful in being awarded a new 2-year contract with the Department for Education @educationgovuk.
This is a testament to the exceptional service and quality delivered by the teams at TES. TES was previously awarded a contract by DfE to support the delivery and improvements to Business Central. TES has subsequently been awarded a contract to support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central across the DfE, their Agencies and arm’s length bodies. The DfE is responsible for children’s services and learning in England, from early years to higher education and apprenticeships.

Welcoming Charlotte
Last month we introduced you to 5 new people joining the TES family, and this month we want you to meet Charlotte Bradburn. You’re likely to hear from Charlotte or Hayley via email if you’re getting in touch to book days with our TES team.
Team TES Keep Fundraising. You Just Can’t Stop Us!
Some of our fantastic employees have teamed up and created ‘Team TES’ taking on the Diabetes UK challenge of completing an incredible 1,000,000 steps in three months. Sue, Nicole, Carrie, Sarah and Beth are aiming to raise £500 for this fantastic cause between 1st July and 30th September, completing around 10,800 steps a day each. If you think what they are doing is amazing and want to recognise their efforts, please head here to donate.
We’re a nation of dog lovers – and the team here at TES is no different. Every month we pick a local cause to raise money for, and this month we’ve chosen the Border Collie Trust in Colton, a charity that rescues and provides care and shelter to lost, abandoned, neglected and ill-treated Border Collies. Our raffle prize this month is a hamper bursting with goodies, and we’re aiming to raise at least £60 to sponsor a kennel for a whole year. Wish us luck!
