The Victoria and Albert Museum, London, is the world’s largest museum of decorative arts and design, housing a permanent collection of over 4.5 million objects. It was founded in 1852 and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
The project was to deploy a finance system that the internal finance team could use to produce museum statutory and management accounts.
Further roll out to the wider business community was an aspiration and was achieved through the limited user licensing model, where budget holders could interact directly with the finance system and send their budgets and purchase orders through approval processes.
TES offered the solution
Microsoft Dynamics NAV allowed the whole business the ability to enter purchase orders through the finance system through limited user licencing, all integrated into the core financial application.
