With over 25 years’ experience in the IT Industry, I have grown and merged two Software companies, which was key to my initial appointment as Managing Director of TES and subsequent progression to CEO. During my previous roles, I was instrumental in growing a strong base of loyal clients and a high-performing delivery team, hitting and exceeding P&L targets. These clients included multinational organisations, one of which was $160bn in revenue, where I managed the delivery of services to regions around the world. I believe that when you commit to delivering, both in terms of relationships with customers and internal team members, it is best approached with integrity. This, along with quality and passion are the values I recognise immediately within the TES Board. They are values that the entire company practices daily. As CEO, I am responsible for ensuring TES delivers on its customer and people commitments, supporting organisations that make a significant social impact, and driving the TES Strategic Vision.

I came into the IT industry after an early career in academia, completing a PhD (Biology) and a master’s degree in IT for Management. With over 20 years’ implementing Finance and CRM solutions, I have developed a skill set under several disciplines, taking on roles from Developer, and Functional Consultant, through to Solution Architect. My role today is as Chief Technology Officer, providing technical governance and strategic guidance to both the internal TES technology and product roadmap as well as client projects. I was the instigator and advocate for the TES Apprenticeship Scheme which introduces new talent to the fast-paced world of digital transformation. Outside of work, I am a passionate foodie and small-holder, rearing rare breed livestock with an emphasis on high welfare standards. I undertake several charitable activities as Chairman of the Lichfield Scout Association and am an occasional runner and paddleboarder.

My journey with Business Central (then Navision) began in 2003 when I was Finance Director of the fast-growing retail business, Gamestation. We selected Navision then because of its obvious strengths and flexibility. Now, nearly 20 years later, Business Central continues to be the best solution for business and not-for-profit organisations due to its Microsoft pedigree and flexibility and scalability. When I’m not busy evangelising about Business Central I’m running my three teenage kids back and forth to their various clubs and societies. I’m also Chair and Trustee of our local village Community Association, helping to organise fundraising events such as the ever-popular annual Beer Festival (another passion), fireworks display and Proms in the Park.

As the Chief Operating Officer at TES, I am proud to lead a talented team that deliver solutions that make a real-world difference to the organisations we partner with. Helping charity and NFP organisations realise the potential of their technology is rewarding, but it is understanding the wider charitable and social impact that motivates me the most. Our work has a purpose. Since graduating with a BSC degree in Information Systems, I have spent my entire career working in the IT sector. I have experienced life as a consultant and developer, as well as managing and leading teams. I have had the pleasure of seeing TES grow and succeed from the start – I was actually the 2nd person to be employed! It was a great opportunity to put to practice the skills I had learnt during my degree and prior to that, the passion for coding that I had developed during my travels in the US. Since day one, I have had the privilege of working with great people, solving complex challenges, and delivering solutions that are truly customer focused.

For pretty much my entire working life I have lived and breathed in the Microsoft Dynamics channel. Prior to moving to TES in 2017 I worked for an Independent Software Vendor partnering with Dynamics providers, and that’s when I first met TES! Since moving to TES as an Account Manager and working with our customers to enhance their Dynamics solutions, I now have the pleasure of welcoming new organisations to the TES family to realise their strategic objectives of moving away from outdated legacy systems to achieve digital transformation on the Microsoft platform. I’m honoured to work within a team of professionals who are passionate about their work, make me laugh every day and support each other on our continual service improvement journey.

I am the Software Development and Quality Manager at TES, having worked within the IT industry, and specifically within the Microsoft Dynamics platform for over 20 years. Having worked with several members of the TES family for a significant part of this time, I share the passion TES has in delivering quality software solutions. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, along with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Computer Science, I can translate complex customer requirements into software solutions which are both user-friendly and scalable. I am driven by the positive real-life feedback TES receives from its customers and the impact it allows them to have. Each member of the Development team feels great satisfaction when a project goes live, and the solution deployed is making a difference to the organisation and its operation.

I started my professional career as a Project Manager and IMS co-ordinator within the land reclamation industry and due to my Law Degree, I often found myself assisting with anything legal, including HR processes. I quickly began to realise that at the heart of every successful business is a good team of people. I was interested in helping businesses build better and stronger teams and I decided that HR was the pathway for me. TES are such an exciting Company to work with and it is brilliant to be part of such an aspirational growth plan. TES are extremely passionate about building a strong team that truly believe in their company values and it is great to be part of that. Outside of work I love to do anything that involves the countryside and exercise, mainly walking with my lab Barney (with whom I am obsessed) and my husband Ed (who I also quite like). I like a challenge, so I have recently attempted surfing and I have decided to start polishing off my ski and snowboarding skills.

I have worked for over 25 years managing business systems progressing through various technical roles of increasing scope and responsibility. Here at TES I am the Business Excellence Manager, I joined TES in May 2022. I am responsible for continuous improvement in line with ISO 27001 as well as the delivery of internal process efficiencies and improvements. I bring with me experience of driving systems and managing change. I have worked with NAV and transitioned to BC as an end user starting my NAV journey back in 2002. TES core values reinstate with my own and I am proud to have joined the TES family. Outside of work I am a keen cook, enjoy walking and keeping up my step count! Family values are dear to my heart, my husband and I are kept on our toes by our two young adult children whom are both now studying at university.
