Once Microsoft undergoes compatibility checks with your system, TES offers all customers hosted on SaaS an Upgrade Assurance service. As part of the Upgrade Assurance service, TES will ensure all approved third-party solutions and supported bespoke services are compatible before Microsoft attempts any major update.
Uniquely designed by TES, Upgrade Assurance is a service that ensures organisational continuity for your charity or not-for-profit.
Subscribing to Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft Dynamics D365, hosted on SaaS (Software as a Service), means you will receive automated minor (monthly) and major (bi-annual) updates from Microsoft. Minor updates contain both application and platform changes that provide critical improvements to the product, including regulatory updates. Major updates take place in spring and autumn and can be configured to take place within a date and time window that is suitable to you and your charity or not-for-profit’s operation. Major updates contain both service and regulatory changes, but also significant improvements to the product with new functionality.
The enhancements included in minor updates are automatically applied by Microsoft seamlessly, without creating any disruption you and your charity or not-for-profit’s operation. If you have third-party solutions or custom bespoke installed, as part of a minor and major update, Microsoft will check compatibility of these solutions and will delay the upgrade if issues are found. Microsoft will also provide an automated report to both you and TES, providing details on the changes required to meet its compatibility requirements.
As part of the Upgrade Assurance service, TES will conduct a test upgrade, conduct ‘What’s New’ training with your team, and provide your charity or not-for-profit organisation with an opportunity to test the upgrade, including new features being introduced, in advanced of Microsoft triggering the update.
As a result, TES makes sure that your systems are optimised to the highest level possible, and ready for upgrades. By letting TES take responsibility for handling your system updates, your organisation can mitigate risks, preventing you from losing time and money while your system is fixed.
