We have been partnering with Continia for over 10 years, and their solutions are used by a range of charities and not-for-profit organisations to speed up the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process as it scans, extracts OCR (Optical Character Recognition) data, registers, posts, and archives purchase invoices with full-text search capability.
PDF files are automatically downloaded from pre-defined e-mail addresses and processed using award-winning OCR technology, with no user involvement at all. Paper documents are scanned using a desktop or network scanner and follow the same flow as PDF files.
Eliminate tedious and repetitive manual data entry with Document Capture’s intelligent OCR. The software reduces errors and saves you time by recognising text and placing it in the correct fields in your Business Central application.
The charities and not-for-profits that we partner with will typically have a number of budget holders and managers who are responsible for the approval of purchase orders and/or purchase invoices. It can often be confusing who to send documents to, based on rules such as the document value and the cost-centre – perhaps two signatures are required. How does this process currently work for you?
