Power Platform

The Microsoft Power Platform is one platform for Office 365 and Dynamics 365, bringing all your data together when you combine PowerApps, Power BI and Microsoft Automate. It's one seamlessly connected platform that empowers everyone to innovate.

Power BI

Power BI is a business analytics service provided by Microsoft. Using data stored in the Common Data Service or other databases, users can build informative reports and dashboards to display important data about sales, customer service and other business functions. These dashboards and reports can be published on websites, in SharePoint or Microsoft Teams and in Apps.

How The Power Platform Works

All three Power Apps can work together to significantly improve your organisation's performance, by allowing sales teams to synergise client information and reduce time needed to approve orders. This creates the Power Platform.

The Power Platform is an application that can be added onto Dynamics 365, either during or after purchase, driving growth through shared data and resources. What's more, you can customise your solution to meet the exact needs of your organisation, with a large variety of applications available for additional purchase.

Microsoft Dataverse

The Microsoft Dataverse (formerly the Common Data Service) lets you securely store and manage data that's used by business applications. Data within Microsoft Dataverse is stored within a set of entities. An entity is a set of records used to store data, similar to how a table stores data within a database. The Microsoft Dataverse includes a base set of standard entities that cover typical scenarios, but you can also create custom entities specific to your organisation and populate them with data.
