People

People are at the core of the business. Promoting and supporting employee wellbeing is at the heart of TES, and the organisation has been developing and refining its processes for over 17 years to help leaders and employees excel.

Integrity within our culture

TES lives by its value for integrity and is committed to diversity and inclusion and our community involvement work. We conduct our business ethically, legally, and with high moral principles, and as a business we ensure that our working conditions and practices inspire trust and respect, adopting a proactive and preventative approach to employee wellbeing in the workplace.

With work playing a significant part in most people’s lives, and not just in providing a source of income, it is TES’ responsibility to provide a workplace that demonstrates:

  • Employee wellbeing being a priority for all areas of the business
  • People knowing what support is available to them, how such support can help them stay well at work, and how to access it
  • The offer of flexible working where possible
  • People knowing what is expected of them
  • People being given space for growth and development
  • A supportive environment that puts a positive value on effective collaboration and individual contributions
  • An inclusive and welcoming culture
  • A zero tolerance to bullying, harassment and other forms of discrimination

TES promotes and prioritises wellbeing through:

  • Access to an Employee Well-being Scheme provided by BUPA
  • The Smart Health initiative, delivering unlimited access to a 24/7 virtual GP, access to mental health support, health checks, nutritionist consultants, expert second medical opinions and personalised online fitness programmes
  • Access to a bereavement counselling and probate helpline, providing a bereavement counselling service with unlimited access to a 24/7 helpline, optional face to face or telephone sessions with a qualified counsellor, and a confidential probate helpline that provides guidance on legal issues resulting from recent bereavements

TES also operates a 5% profit share scheme with our employees, encouraging everybody in working towards a shared goal, and providing a fair and transparent acknowledgement of our people as the future of the business.

Customers

TES is very passionate about the impact its charity and Not-For-Profit customers have on society and the contribution to social value they make. The company is committed to funding solutions that can help with that initiative.

Partnerships

Every small business leader knows that collaborating and working together with other businesses is the best way to find success. Working together with other organisations helps us find solutions to the issues we face.

Community

TES is committed to working locally to improve the social, economic and environmental wellbeing of the community.

People

“We’re very aware that fighting the climate crisis really matters to our customers and our team. Every day climate change is highlighted as one of the main social issues of our times. It’s important to me that as we grow as a business we mitigate our impact on the climate.

TES wants to be proactive in setting itself the challenge of establishing long-term goals and achieving demonstrable improvements in this regard year after year.”
